How Clens Got Started
Clens started with a vacation rental. Pat was managing one in San Diego, and keeping it clean meant hiring cleaner after cleaner, most of them unreliable, undertrained, or gone after one bad job. Guests noticed. He was the one fielding the complaints and re-cleaning at the last minute.
He has an aerospace engineering background, and that gives you a particular way of looking at a broken system. You do not accept it just because it has always been broken. You find what is failing, figure out why, and build something better. So instead of hiring one more cleaner who would let him down, he built the cleaning company he wished existed.
